Refund policy
Online purchases
For eligible online purchases, tell us clearly within 14 days after you or your nominated recipient receives the goods that you wish to withdraw. For goods from one order delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item. You can also notify us before delivery. You do not need to give a reason or obtain permission.
Email hello@sarahgauci.com with your order number or other purchase details. A clear withdrawal statement is sufficient. Send the goods back within a further 14 days after telling us. Time limits are extended where required by law.
Returning a piece and refunds
You pay the direct return postage for a change of mind. Pack the jewellery securely, preferably using its original packaging, and keep proof of posting. Original packaging is not a condition of exercising a statutory withdrawal right.
You may inspect a piece as you would in a shop. Handling beyond what is needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning may result in an evidenced deduction for reduced value, as permitted by law. Wearing jewellery to an occasion goes beyond ordinary inspection.
We refund without undue delay and within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise without cost to you. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence they have been sent back, whichever comes first. For withdrawal of a whole order, the refund includes our least expensive standard outbound delivery; any extra paid for a premium service is not included. We do not charge a restocking fee.
Customised jewellery
Jewellery genuinely created to your individual specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law and explained before purchase. Making a piece after ordering, or choosing from standard crystal colours or plating options, does not automatically remove withdrawal rights.
Our crystals are hand-set in plated settings. Changing crystals in a finished piece can damage the plating or settings; this does not in itself create a legal exemption or limit statutory rights.
Earrings
We do not offer exchanges on earrings. This does not affect your statutory online withdrawal and refund rights or your rights for faulty or incorrect goods.
Boutique purchases
Unworn pieces may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days, with proof of purchase and original packaging. Earrings and genuinely bespoke or personalised pieces are excluded from this change-of-mind offer. Change-of-mind cash refunds are not offered for boutique purchases. Statutory rights for faulty or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
If something is wrong
If your jewellery is faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect or does not match its description, contact us with your order details and, where helpful, photographs. Statutory conformity rights and remedies remain available; we cover necessary costs of an applicable remedy, including return postage.
Plating can wear with use. Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage or unsuitable cleaning may affect a claim where it caused the problem, but does not remove unrelated statutory rights.
